About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Leader to join our team at Kidsfirst Childcare Centre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our organization and driving our mission to provide high-quality childcare services to our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve our strategic objectives.
  • Authorize and establish major departments and associated senior staff positions to support our growth and development.
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Establish clear objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs to achieve our mission.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, or delegate representatives to act on our behalf.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, and delegate the necessary authority to them to create optimum working conditions.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the health, education, or community services sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to our organization's mission and values.
