Position Overview

TV2 Consulting is seeking a skilled Coldfusion Developer who possesses a Secret level clearance from the Government of Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing application software, as well as conducting thorough testing to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement application programs while ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Analyze, modify, and enhance existing programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installation.
  • Collaborate effectively with remote teams, demonstrating adaptability and a quick learning ability.
  • Utilize sound judgment to interpret complex business requirements and create suitable solutions.
  • Engage in profiling and optimizing code efficiency, contributing to a continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
  • Maintain operational efficiency of current application systems.
  • Document systems development processes and revisions accurately.
  • Conduct needs assessments to guide the development and implementation of application systems.
  • Build secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.
  • Leverage knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a Secret level clearance from the Government of Canada.
  • Experience in the telecommunications sector and familiarity with Government of Canada contracts is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Coldfusion programming language and Coldbox Framework 4.
  • Strong knowledge of ANSI SQL-92, JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS, HTML5, Apache POI, Git, Linux, and Oracle 19c.
Employment Details
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with a combination of on-site and remote work.
  • Contract Type: Temporary Contractor.
  • Compensation: Hourly rate to be determined based on experience.
  • Contract Duration: 12 months with potential for extension.
