Seasonal Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Seasonal Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Infrastructure Management team. This role is essential for maintaining the safety and efficiency of our transportation network, particularly during seasonal demands such as snow removal and road maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to snow plows, graders, and loaders, to clear roadways, medians, and other infrastructure assets.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Assist with traffic control setup and management during road work operations.
  • Transport crew members and materials as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure project completion within established timelines and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license (AZ license preferred).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience operating heavy equipment in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of traffic control procedures and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
