Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team at Webber for a seasonal position. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating heavy equipment, including snow plows, graders, and other machinery, to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of roads and highways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including snow plows, graders, and other machinery, to ensure safe and efficient maintenance of roads and highways.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment life.
  • Conduct pre- and post-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe operation and identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of equipment operations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • 1+ years of experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment

The Equipment Operator will work in a variety of outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions, and will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
