About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Dreamers Bar Inc. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our staff are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Cost Control and Management: Monitor and control costs associated with products and services, ensuring that we are operating within budget.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that our establishment runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate accuracy, a client-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide support and guidance to newcomers and refugees, helping them to integrate into our team and succeed in their roles.
  • Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training and development opportunities to young staff members, helping them to build their skills and confidence.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations, promoting cultural understanding and respect.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week
