Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Lanark Lifestyles Retirement Residence. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring
  • Support residents with mobility and exercise routines
  • Administer medications and treatments as required
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in a personal support worker role
  • Completion of a personal support worker program or equivalent
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
