We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Atlantic ADHD Clinic. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
- Manage incoming mail, emails, and other materials, and distribute them to the relevant staff members
- Schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain a calendar of upcoming events
- Train staff in procedures and software, and provide guidance on office protocols
- Complete insurance and claim forms, and maintain a filing system
- Order supplies and maintain inventory, and determine office procedures and routines
- Enter and format medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
- Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, and perform data entry
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and staff
- 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, and experience with MEDITECH
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- A dynamic and supportive work environment
