About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Almachar Family. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking, ensuring a balanced and nutritious diet
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Assist with medication management and administration, as required
  • Provide emotional support and empathy to clients and their families
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as healthcare or social services
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
