About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Sraa Household. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and linen management.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Exercise and Mobility: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and promote mobility and independence.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients, including non-smoking policies and adherence to infection control protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work is required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Term: Permanent position available.
  • Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
