Position Summary: We are currently seeking motivated and skilled individuals for the role of Material Technician(s) / Skilled Labourer(s) in our Saint John office. Our management values the contributions of creative and talented employees, recognizing that their development is crucial to our success.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in general construction activities is essential.
  • Familiarity with materials testing and inspection is a significant advantage.
  • A college-level diploma is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Experience in civil construction is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multi-tasking skills are required.
  • Capability to lift weights ranging from 30 to 50 lbs as necessary.
  • Willingness to undergo training provided by GEMTEC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory testing of aggregates, soils, concrete, and asphalt.
  • Perform field testing and sampling of various materials.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Employment Details:

  • Full-time seasonal and term positions are available.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel are required.
