Position Summary: We are currently seeking experienced Material Technicians and Skilled Labourers to support our operations. Our management recognizes that talented individuals are invaluable assets, and we prioritize employee development as a key component of our success.
Ideal Candidate Profile: The successful candidates will possess a background in general construction activities. Experience in materials testing and inspection is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- College Level Diploma is beneficial but not mandatory
- Experience in civil construction is a plus
- Familiarity with materials testing and inspection is an asset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational, planning, and multi-tasking abilities
- Capability to lift weights ranging from 30-50 lbs regularly
- Willingness to undergo training provided by GEMTEC
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory testing of aggregates, soils, concrete, and asphalt
- Perform field testing and sampling of aggregates, soils, concrete, and asphalt
- Execute additional duties as assigned
Employment Type:
- Full-time seasonal and term positions available
- A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel are required
