About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Clinical Network, you will play a critical role in developing the strategic direction of our organization.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of the Integrated Acute & Episodic Care Network, you will collaborate with Network Leadership Teams to provide leadership in policy development, planning, and accountability. You will analyze complex issues impacting our clinical service area and/or population across the lifespan, providing strategic advice and recommendations to inform decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategic plans to advance priority areas aligned with our Network's goals and objectives
  • Building and fostering partnerships to support priority achievement
  • Designing and implementing quality improvement initiatives to advance excellence in care delivery
  • Providing expert analysis and advice on issues impacting our clinical service area and/or population

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Master's degree in a health-related discipline. A strong background in quality improvement and experience in strategic planning and policy development are essential. About You

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Master's degree in a health-related discipline
  • Registration with a relevant health or professional discipline/college or association (an asset)
  • 5-7 years of senior leadership experience in healthcare, with a focus on policy development, planning, and accountability
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Expert knowledge of evidence-based practices and strategic planning
Hours

This is a permanent, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. Travel may be required.

Compensation and Incentives

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $53.67 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
