Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Community Advantage Rehabilitation in Durham Region.

About the Role:

This is a flexible role that offers a range of opportunities for professional growth and development. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with adults in their homes and communities to provide rehabilitation services that promote independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide ministry-funded, community-based Occupational Therapy services to adults in their homes and communities.
  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop evidence-based intervention plans to address client needs.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with CAR and COTO standards.
Requirements:
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Experience working in a community setting is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an inter-professional team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to maintain accurate records.
