Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Physiotherapy Kingston & Brock. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time or full-time opportunity, with a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits program. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, including clients with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat clients with a range of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health challenges.
  • Develop and implement holistic, individualized treatment plans based on critical analysis and clinical reasoning.
  • Manage a fast-paced caseload in a multidisciplinary work environment.
  • Collaborate with a team of clinicians and stakeholders to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in case conferences and case management.
  • Preceptorship/co-preceptorship of Occupational Therapy students.
Requirements
  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Solid experience in assessing and treating adults with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions.
  • Experience in Occupational and Veterans Rehabilitation and Mental Health is a significant asset.
  • Ability to be self-directed and autonomous, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage self-scheduling, and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
  • Excellent oral, written, and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and new technology.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
