Key Responsibilities
  • Provide community-based occupational therapy services to adults in their place of residence
  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to promote client independence and well-being
  • Collaborate with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Experience working in a community setting, preferably with adults
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an inter-professional team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records
