What is the opportunity?

This distinctive role leverages your client-oriented sales acumen and innate problem-solving abilities to enhance each client interaction. In this capacity, you will assist clients with their daily banking needs. As an ambassador for RBC, you will provide value during critical moments for clients and work alongside RBC partners to help clients reach their financial objectives. Whether you are guiding a client on how to navigate digital banking, welcoming a new client, or directing a complex inquiry to a specialist, your knowledge will play a vital role in crafting significant and memorable client experiences that foster client satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Proactively engage with clients throughout the branch and in the community, identifying banking needs, offering assistance and advice, and recognizing sales and referral opportunities.
  2. Emphasize client education and demonstration, utilizing technology to create a remarkable client experience, drive sales, and retain business.
  3. Respond to client-initiated inquiries, assisting them with a comprehensive range of financial transactions.
  4. Actively listen and engage clients in dialogue to better understand their unique needs.
  5. Take initiative in resolving and preventing client banking issues.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

Qualifications for Success

Essential Skills

  1. A demonstrated commitment to prioritizing clients, along with proven success in a hands-on, target-oriented sales environment.
  2. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate meaningful relationships and proactively connect with clients.
  3. Adaptability, eagerness to learn, strong ethical standards, and a drive for success.
  4. Proficiency in digital tools across various devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops).
  5. Availability to work during all business hours.

Preferred Skills

  1. A history of establishing rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service sectors.
  2. Accreditation in Mutual Funds (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
