Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at District 65 Corporation. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Estimate and manage food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
- Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu planning and kitchen operations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standards
- Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
- Collaborate with clients to plan and execute special events and functions
- 2-3 years of experience in a senior culinary role
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant culinary training
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. We are a non-smoking facility.
