Position Overview - Investment Funds Specialist

Role Significance
The Investment Funds Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating the Systematic Plans and Non-Financial Updates within the department. Key responsibilities include reviewing and submitting Systematic Plan directives to fund providers, tracking Non-Financial updates submitted via XML to fund providers, and managing Internal Transfer requests. Given the urgency of these tasks, the ideal candidate must exhibit outstanding time management capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and monitor mutual fund systematic plan requests with fund providers;
- Handle internal transfers of RJL mutual fund holdings utilizing FundSERV;
- Manually submit internal transfer requests to mutual fund providers;
- Provide advisor and client demographic data to mutual fund providers;
- Review and forward all manual Segregated Fund and Offbook Account applications for processing;
- Support and assist other team members as required.

Qualifications
- Basic understanding of investment principles, practices, and procedures prevalent in the securities sector;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a readiness to learn new software;
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and prioritization abilities;
- Capability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining superior service and a keen attention to detail;
- Exhibit advanced communication skills through face-to-face interactions, email, videoconferencing, and phone conversations;
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team;
- Demonstrate professionalism to foster effective working relationships across all organizational levels;
- Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
Distinguishing Factors
- Familiarity with Dataphile / FundSERV;
- Proficiency in French is an advantage.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000, complemented by competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
Raymond James Financial is a member of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and the Canadian Investor Protection Fund (CIPF).
