About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Taper to join our team at MAHIL DRYWALL LTD. as a key member of our installation and supervision team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Estimation: Prepare tenders and quotations for drywall installation projects, ensuring accurate estimates of costs and materials.
  • Supervision and Instruction: Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers on drywall installation projects, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Installation and Execution: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to project specifications.
  • Project Management: Estimate costs and materials, operate CADD and other computer software systems, and work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, as required.
  • Communication and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physical Demands: The role requires bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods, as well as working under pressure to meet project deadlines.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
