Position Overview:

The Trading Support Analyst role is integral to our operations, providing essential functional support for customer inquiries related to our multi-asset product offerings. This position emphasizes the support and training of both new and existing users of our equities trading and risk management platform, which offers rapid access to global equities exchanges and execution venues, utilized by top-tier brokers worldwide.

As part of the Toronto-based Trading Support team, you will be an enthusiastic member of the Fidessa Global Service Desk, engaging with a diverse group of professionals who possess strong technical, functional, and customer service skills. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to four years of experience seeking direct client interaction, exposure to complex financial products, and a career path in trade support, product management, or technical account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address customer needs and adapt to the evolving trading landscape by resolving a significant portion of issues independently.
  • Collaborate with specialized teams within the organization to ensure swift resolution of complex issues.
  • Provide real-time support via phone, chat, and email, while also conducting regular on-site customer visits for product training and support.
  • Gather valuable insights on customer usage of our services to enhance workflows through innovative solutions.
  • Willingness to travel, typically less than 25%, as circumstances allow.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in equities trading operations, with a foundational understanding of equity markets and business flows.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems) with a business focus, or a business-related degree (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Finance) with substantial exposure to technical fields.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and accurately to clients.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to thrive in high-pressure trading environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.
  • Familiarity with financial software solutions.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
