Job Title: Assistant Director of Finance and Accounting

Job Summary:

The Assistant Director of Finance and Accounting is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Office. This includes financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, and working capital and cash control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Accounting Team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to analyze financial data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
  • Manage and maintain financial systems, including accounting software and spreadsheets.
  • Develop and implement financial training programs for Accounting Team members.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including tax laws and accounting standards.

Requirements:

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Proficiency in financial software, including accounting software and spreadsheets.
