Job Title: Executive Chef

Val and Patsys Island Food is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure excellent food preparation and presentation
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
  • Collaborate with our management team to plan and execute special events and promotions
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Proven track record of menu development and implementation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
