We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.
Job Summary:The Executive Chef will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
Key Responsibilities:- Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's culinary vision.
- Food Preparation: Supervise and participate in food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to our customers.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including inventory management, staff supervision, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Cost Control: Manage kitchen expenses, including food costs, labor costs, and inventory management, to ensure profitability.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, requiring attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work well under pressure.
