Automotive Design Release Engineer

V2Soft is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Release Engineer to join our growing team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and release of automotive components, ensuring they meet stringent quality and performance standards.
- Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design and release process.
- Manage and track design changes, ensuring timely implementation and documentation.
- Conduct thorough reviews of design specifications and technical documentation.
- Support testing activities to validate component performance and reliability.
- Prepare and submit release packages for manufacturing approval.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace/Aeronautical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Minimum of [Number] years of experience in design/release engineering within the automotive industry.
- Proven expertise in automotive body hardware components, including latches, window regulators, door hardware, mechanisms, electromechanical systems, power lift gates, sunroofs, power closures, aero components, active grill shutters, lift gates, tailgates, closures, convertible tops, mirrors, and related technologies.
- Strong program management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with engineers, designers, and manufacturing personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Hybrid Work Environment: This role requires a hybrid work schedule, with some time spent onsite for testing and collaboration. Travel to the US for meetings may be required periodically.
