Position Overview

As a Supply Chain Specialist at Empowerment Technologies Inc., you will play a crucial role in optimizing our procurement processes and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain management.

Education Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services.
  • Evaluate the needs of the organization to create detailed specifications for required equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Formulate specifications for the procurement of equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Negotiate terms and offers with suppliers to secure favorable conditions.
  • Engage in consultations with suppliers to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of staff involved in procurement processes.
  • Review and assess quotations received from various suppliers.
  • Establish and define contract terms and conditions.
  • Assign contracts to suitable vendors based on evaluations.
  • Develop and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Monitor the progress of delivery schedules to address any issues promptly.
  • Communicate with clients and suppliers to resolve any arising problems.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 1 to 2 individuals.
