Job Summary

Empowerment Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and logistics of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement
    • Source and purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services from suppliers.
    • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
    • Negotiate offers from suppliers and review quotations.
    • Determine contract terms and conditions and award contracts to appropriate parties.
  • Inventory Management
    • Establish delivery schedules and monitor progress of delivery schedules.
    • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide customer service and respond to customer inquiries.
    • Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems and issues.
  • Supervision and Team Management
    • Supervise and train staff to ensure effective execution of tasks and responsibilities.
    • Lead and manage a team of 1 to 2 people.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a client-focused approach.
    Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
    • English language proficiency.
