Meat Processing Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Meat Processing Specialist to join our team at Western Fine Meats Inc.. This role involves working in a dynamic environment focused on the preparation and processing of various meat products.
Qualifications- Education: No formal education required
- Experience: On-the-job training provided
The position is based in a meat processing facility, where you will be engaged in a variety of tasks related to meat handling and preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare meats for processing by cleaning and sanitizing
- Execute standard cuts of meat with precision
- Disassemble poultry into individual parts
- Prepare fish by cutting into steaks and fillets
- Grind various types of meat
- Slice and present cooked meats
- Create attractive displays of meat, poultry, and seafood products
- Shape and tie roasts and other meat products
Basic security clearance is required to ensure a safe working environment.
Physical Requirements- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable in a fast-paced setting
- Capable of standing for extended periods
- Detail-oriented and accurate
- Flexible and adaptable
- Reliable team player
This is a permanent position with a commitment of 30 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
