About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Western Fine Meats Inc. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean meats to prepare them for processing or cutting, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Cut and Trim Meats: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, poultry, and fish products to meet customer demands.
  • Grind and Slice Meats: Grind meats and slice cooked meats to create a variety of products.
  • Prepare Displays: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products to showcase our products in a visually appealing way.
  • Shape and Package: Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood to create attractive and secure packages.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Experience: We will provide training for the right candidate, so prior experience is not necessary.
  • Work Environment: You will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, flexible, reliable, and a team player are essential qualities for this role.
