About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Western Fine Meats Inc. as a key member of our meat processing and packing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare meats for processing by cleaning and trimming to ensure high-quality products.
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, poultry, and fish to meet customer demands.
  • Operate machinery and equipment to grind meats and slice cooked meats.
  • Assist in preparing special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products to enhance customer experience.
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood to meet customer specifications.
Requirements
  • Basic security clearance to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and management.
  • Reliability and flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and priorities.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a meat processing and packing plant/establishment, with a 30-hour workweek and a permanent work term.

Language and Work Environment
