About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Western Fine Meats Inc. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat, as well as cutting poultry and fish into various parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparation: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, cut poultry into parts, cut fish into steaks and fillets, grind meats, and slice cooked meats.
  • Display Preparation: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively as a team player, demonstrating accuracy, flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
