- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensure that Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Monitor and ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, ensuring that customers receive a high-quality experience.
- Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond to customer complaints and concerns, ensuring that we resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit reports on sales, customer feedback, and other key performance indicators, ensuring that we have the data we need to make informed decisions.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, supervise and coordinate activities of staff, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, hire food service staff, ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, prepare and submit reports.
