Restaurant Shift Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at KFC Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and manage kitchen operations.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
