Senior Director, Operations Equipment Management:
The Senior Director, Operations Equipment Management is a key leadership role within Restaurant Brands International Inc. that oversees the development and implementation of innovative equipment solutions for our restaurants. This position plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency, reducing complexity, and improving franchisee profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Optimization: Design and optimize back-of-house operations to improve efficiency, broaden our scope of potential offerings, and minimize required maintenance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Digital Transformation: Lead the digitization of our restaurant processes to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors on Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to ensure the selection of best-in-class equipment solutions.
- Project Management: Oversee product and project management to ensure successful implementation of equipment solutions.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in equipment or operations in the food service industry, with a strong preference for QSR experience.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and plan large-scale projects, with strong communication and leadership skills.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, primarily within continental US and Canada, with occasional travel outside North America.
- Work Arrangement: Ability to work out of the Toronto, Ontario office on a hybrid basis.
