Senior Living Operations Director

About the Role:
Sienna Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our team in providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As the most senior leader in our home, you will be responsible for driving and sustaining a culture that inspires our core values – positivity, accountability, community, and caring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a high-performing management team and implement a person-centered care philosophy for resident care and clinical services.
- Plan, coordinate, direct, and monitor the effectiveness of overall operational activities of the home, ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue growth.
- Actively utilize established standards and resources to cultivate an optimal work environment, ensuring managers and front-line team members are fully engaged in delivering the best resident experience.
- Forge relationships with external stakeholders, ensuring seamless transitions through various stages of a resident's journey, including in-take, move-in, care level assessment, and discharge.
- Understand and interpret various regulations governing senior healthcare, ensuring compliance for team members, residents, and families.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Health or Social Services.
- 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in long-term care, health services, or social services.
- Proven track record of effective team management, budget management, and operational excellence.
- Highly organized, with exceptional problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with seniors, their families, team members, and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed administrator in the Province of Ontario or completion of a long-term care home administration program with a minimum of 100 hours of instruction.
- Registered with the College of Nurses of BC as a Registered Nurse.
