The Role:
The Senior Director, Operations Equipment Management will lead the Tim Hortons Operations Equipment team in driving innovation and renovation of restaurant equipment. This strategic position will focus on streamlining restaurant-level processes, reducing complexity, and enhancing franchisee profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize back-of-house operations to improve efficiency, broaden offerings, minimize maintenance, and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with vendors on Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to secure optimal equipment solutions.
- Oversee product and project management, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in equipment or operations management within the food service industry, with a strong preference for QSR experience.
- Prior experience in managing and planning large-scale projects, with a proven track record of success.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, primarily within continental US and Canada, with occasional international travel.
