As a Strategic Finance Partner, you will be instrumental in ensuring the financial stability of the organization and that strategic choices are backed by comprehensive financial insights. Your contributions will be crucial in steering the financial trajectory of the business while promoting operational and fiscal effectiveness.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
    • Spearhead the annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
    • Create and sustain financial models to facilitate business planning and decision-making.
    • Perform variance analysis to identify performance influencers and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Business Collaboration:
    • Partner with department leaders and senior executives to enhance financial outcomes.
    • Offer financial guidance and assistance to diverse business units, including marketing, sales, and operations.
    • Collaborate closely with the sales division to evaluate customer profitability and product margins.
  • Reporting & Insights:
    • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for executive leadership and the board.
    • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance.
    • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic projects.
  • Financial Governance & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal financial protocols.
    • Supervise the preparation of financial statements and coordinate audit processes.
  • Strategic Projects:
    • Assist in M&A activities, including due diligence and integration efforts.
    • Support financial initiatives aimed at cost reduction and process enhancements.
    • Evaluate and mitigate financial risks linked to business operations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial management, ideally within the retail sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the proficiency to interpret complex financial information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
