**What You'll Do**:
As Finance Manager, you will be part of our corporate services (HR, Operations, Systems) team and be charged with conducting all financial activities, ensuring that we stay on top of our finances while driving business decisions with your insights. Key areas of focus include:
**Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting**:

- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide actionable recommendations to optimize performance.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.

**Accounting and Payroll**:

- Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Own and process payroll for a team of 30-40 employees, which includes both salaried employees and hourly shift workers. Ensure accurate and timely compensation across various employment types, through our Payroll/HRIS software, Rise.
- Produce all federal and provincial reports (taxes, remittances, worker’s compensation premiums, etc.) and liaise with authorities to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. This includes Quebec.

**Cash Flow and Risk Management**:

- Monitor cash flow and optimize working capital.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

**Strategic Financial Support**:

- Collaborate with senior leadership on financial strategy and provide insights to guide decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with federal and provincial tax laws.
- Guide and assist in both costing/quoting proposals, as well as project budgets.
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and external partners.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Proven experience in Finance/Accounting or similar role in a small to medium-sized company.
- Experience working with pan-Canadian companies, including payroll for Quebec and various provincial workers safety organisations.
- CPA certification is an asset
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and principles.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Hubdoc, Plooto) and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
