About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Lions Bay General Store & Cafe. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and efficient stockroom operations.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Sell merchandise, promote products, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Store Operations: Establish work schedules, authorize returns, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of retail management experience or equivalent.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work.
