The Western Corp is seeking a skilled Driver, Ready-Mix to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete materials to various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Load and unload goods with precision, taking care to secure cargo and prevent damage.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed, utilizing your technical skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately, maintaining detailed records for reporting and analysis.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo are essential aspects of this role, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of ready-mix truck operations.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing circumstances.
  • Hardworking and organized, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
