Job Summary

Optimum Truck Lines Ltd is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Address customer complaints and concerns with professionalism
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Medical exam
Work Environment

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be required to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
