Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator to join our team at Vision Coatings Limited.
Job Summary:The Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the procurement and inventory management processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and supplies to support our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Compile and analyze purchase orders and instructions from customers
- Organize and prioritize tasks to achieve work objectives
- Track and complete work orders, monitoring the movement of supplies and materials between departments
- Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and other relevant metrics
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs
- Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare and maintain progress reports and other documentation as required
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or a related field
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
