Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing and Inventory Manager to develop and implement procurement strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately tracked and managed.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and other terms and conditions.
  • Implement efficient inventory management practices to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports to track inventory levels, sales, and other key performance indicators.
  • Support the team in ensuring that customer service levels are met while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and monitoring excess inventory.
Requirements:
  • College or university education in business, accounting, or a related field.
  • 1+ year's work experience in purchasing and inventory management.
  • Strong computer skills, with emphasis on Excel and warehouse management tools.
  • Solid attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
