Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Assistant - Manufacturing Co-op to join our Manufacturing Engineering department. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the development of manufacturing processes and procedures. You will work closely with designers and engineers to create and improve fixtures, and conduct process studies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

* Assist in plant layout updates and preparation of work instructions
* Collaborate with Project/Manufacturing Engineers on CAPEX projects
* Conduct process studies and continuous improvement initiatives
* Work alongside designers and engineers to create and improve fixtures

Qualifications

* Currently enrolled in a registered post-secondary co-op program in Mechanical Engineering
* Available for a 4-month placement
* Some CAD experience in Solid Edge, Solid Works, or AutoCAD
* Some experience working with machines
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
