Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Assistant Co-op to join our Manufacturing Engineering department. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about manufacturing engineering and wants to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Work on plant layout updates and preparation of work instructions.
  • Conduct process studies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to create and improve fixtures.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a registered post-secondary co-op program in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Available for a 4 or 8 month placement.
  • Some CAD experience in Solid Edge, Solid Works, or AutoCAD.
  • Some experience working with machines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
