Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Assistant Co-op to join our Manufacturing Engineering department. As a member of our team, you will assist in the development of manufacturing processes and work closely with designers and engineers to create and improve fixtures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in plant layout updates and preparation of work instructions.
  • Support CAPEX projects with Project/Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Conduct process studies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to create and improve fixtures.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a registered post-secondary co-op program in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Available for a 4 or 8 month placement for the Winter 2025 Co-op Work Term.
  • Some CAD experience in Solid Edge, Solid Works, or AutoCAD.
  • Some experience working with machines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
