WHAT WE PROVIDE:
At Nurse Next Door, we prioritize a positive work environment where you enjoy your role. This is a Casual Position with competitive compensation ranging from $30.00 to $33.00 per hour.
We offer flexible scheduling options tailored to your availability, allowing shifts as short as 2 hours or extending up to 8-12 hours, including opportunities for overtime.
Our services encompass community nursing and facility staffing, ensuring personalized in-home care with a focus on one-on-one support. Our 24/7 support center is available to assist with any scheduling inquiries.
We also provide continuous assistance related to client care and offer internal educational programs or courses at no cost to our team members.

Available Shifts:
Mornings, Evenings, Overnights, and Weekends. We understand the complexities of nursing schedules and are committed to accommodating your needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement the client's care plan as designed by the Care Designer.
- Provide training and delegation of tasks to the care team.
- Evaluate client needs and communicate recommendations for complex care plans back to the Care Designer.
- Operate within the scope of your experience and knowledge, ensuring safe and competent practice.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records and documentation.

Nursing responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, comprehensive assessments, monitoring vital signs, pain evaluation, collaboration with healthcare providers, and diabetic management.

- Ensure the safety of clients and utilize equipment properly.
- Assist clients with mobility, exercises, and transfers.
- Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and personal care.
- Aid clients in their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A compassionate, kind, and caring demeanor, dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of seniors.
- A genuine passion for caregiving.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are advantageous but not mandatory.
- A negative TB test.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- A clear criminal record check.
- A valid LPN license.
- Experience in hospital, home care, and palliative care settings is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Two professional references.
- Comfort with mobile applications.
