Job Title: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Location: Burnaby, New Westminster, Tri-Cities

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to join our team as a Home Care Nurse. As a Home Care Nurse, you will provide personalized care to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute client care plans as outlined by the Care Designer
  • Provide delegations of task or other training to a care team
  • Assess client needs and report back to Care Designer with recommendations on complex care plans
  • Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
  • Nursing tasks include – medication administration, wound care, head to toe assessment, vital signs, pain assessment, liaising with physicians, diabetic management
  • Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
  • Assist clients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises
  • Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
  • Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)

Requirements:

  • Valid LPN License
  • Valid First Aid/CPR
  • Clear Criminal Record Check
  • Negative TB Test
  • Driver's license and a vehicle is an asset but not a requirement
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills. Other languages an asset
  • 2 Professional References
  • Comfortable with mobile apps

  • $100.00 - $150.00 SIGNING BONUS - Terms and Conditions Apply
  • Casual Position - $30.00-$33.00 per hour
  • Open to your availability - flexible hours non-restrictive hours
  • Can work as low as 2 hrs. per shift to as long as 8-12 hrs. per shift with overtime
  • 24/7 support center to assist with scheduling-related questions
  • 24/7 assistance related to client care
