About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at AgeCare. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Medications: Safely and accurately administer medications to patients, ensuring their therapeutic and side effects are properly monitored.
  • Provide Safety and Health Education: Educate individuals and their families on safety and health practices, promoting healthy habits and disease prevention.
  • Nursing Services: Provide nursing services within the defined scope of practice, based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
  • Monitor Progress: Continuously monitor patients' progress, evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions and consulting with the healthcare team as needed.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Security and Safety: A valid criminal record check, immunization records, tuberculosis test, and vulnerable sector check.
  • Experience: While experience is an asset, we encourage recent graduates to apply.
