Position Overview: Supplier Auditor

As a key player in the auditing team, the Supplier Auditor will engage in comprehensive evaluations of supplier operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards expected in the shipbuilding industry.

Qualifications:
  1. Educational Background: A degree in a relevant discipline such as engineering or science.
  2. Certifications: ASQ – Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent credentials.
  3. ISO Knowledge: Certification in ISO auditing or similar qualifications.
  4. Experience: A minimum of 5 years in auditing across sectors like shipbuilding, manufacturing, or aerospace.
  5. Quality Management Systems: Proficient understanding of ISO 9001:2015, AS 9100, or equivalent systems.
  6. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with shipbuilding materials and processes is advantageous.
  7. Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.
  8. Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel for on-site audits.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough audits of supplier facilities to assess compliance.
  2. Review supplier documentation to verify alignment with project specifications.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to establish audit criteria based on critical components.
  4. Deliver detailed audit reports highlighting findings and recommendations.
  5. Work alongside suppliers to rectify non-conformities and promote continuous quality improvement.
