POSITION SUMMARY

Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is currently seeking a Supplier Auditor. This is a permanent full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Perform thorough audits of supplier facilities to assess compliance with established standards.
  2. Review supplier documentation to verify adherence to project requirements and regulatory guidelines.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to define essential components and materials, tailoring audit criteria accordingly.
  4. Deliver comprehensive audit reports that detail findings, non-conformities, and actionable recommendations.
  5. Engage with suppliers to rectify non-conformities, implement corrective measures, and promote ongoing quality improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., engineering, science).
  2. Certification: ASQ – Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent.
  3. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in auditing within sectors such as shipbuilding, manufacturing, or aerospace.
  4. Knowledge: Proficient understanding of ISO 9001:2015, AS 9100, or similar Quality Management Systems.
  5. Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  6. Travel: Willingness to travel to supplier locations for on-site evaluations.
